if I remember correctly, on Windows XP atleast 0x00007b was a drive error, normally ment your drive was dying af
Hey so i've been getting this 0x00007b error recently
and I figured out what was causing it
msvcr100_clr0400.dll (sysWOW64) which only weight 18ko for some reason
whenever I try to replace it or delete it , it just won't allow me
the only thing that has full access to this file is TrustedInstaller
I can change the access to a different user but i can only (read/write) on the file

its a new computer + its windows 10 :P , pretty sure this is related to msvcr100_clr0400.dll (sysWOW64) , but i just can't find a way to replace it :'( . I tried everything (even safe mode) but nothing seems to work :/
clr is .net framework, delete dat and your .net won't work.
fyi: https://msdn.microsof*****m/en-us/library/cc231199.aspx click control + f and enter 0x0000007B. after doing that you'll find out your error. (ERROR_INVALID_NAME, The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.). Which makes sense since you 'tried' to deleted your .net clr file thingo
