New to this, please don't be mean

Hello everybody, I have been learning c++ for a couple of months and I am pretty familiar with the basics. I am able to create simple console programs and games ect. But recently I have been looking at game hacking, specifically counter strike hacks. I play the game myself and figured this would be a lot of fun if I decided to learn to make cheats for games. I have been watching tutorials on yt and I am still a noob to this. I recently downloaded an ayyware source and was looking at the source code, I don't want to paste I just wanted to learn from it. Sorry if I am not making any sense right now but is this a good way to learn? Looking at sources and googling things I don't understand, thank you in advance.

My advice is to start out smaller, learn a bit more about memory hacking and look at some more videos and than start looking at source code. Start with making a program that tells whether a window is open or not. I would recommend this video to start off with:


Its not counter-strike but its the basics that you could definitely use to get yourself started.

Yes and no, I think ayyware would be too much to take in for a beginner. I'd recommend downloading something simpler like and external glowhack sourcecode.
