What to say when Logitech asks to ship before sending replacement

Lets be honest. This is a really fuckign shitty story. When I started out SEing I used to use excuses like this I saw on forums but I didn't get anywhere besides the few times the rep was a total idiot and handed me the SE. I am not trying to bash the OP, but just saying excuses like that rarely work, cuz the reps aren't braindead (most of the time). Heres a alternative that I think is pretty nice.

You are a graphics designer/ video editor/ etc and use the computer on a daily basis to do ur job. You run private service and take jobs from private clients so you can't just go to your workplace. Say you won't be able to do your job without it, and can lose a a lot of customers. They might not accept this right away but keep pestering them and they eventually will. + its realistic
