Scamming A Scammer

For this I need an answer from high up staff

Example:

Bob is a new member on MPGH, Bob meets the requirements to open a currency exchange service, so bob does so.
Bob Scams someone for $100BTC
Bob gets banned

Steve Wants to buy some BTC
Steve opens a thread
Bob contacts steve asking him if he wants to buy $50 of BTC
Steve knows bob is a scammer so he takes his money and tells him to go fuck himself

Bob is a fucking looser and got scammed lol


Later bob decides he would like to rejoin MPGH.
He makes a new account and creates a staff dispute, If he repays his victums he gets unbanned.



Questions:

If Bob becomes a member of MPGH, Does Steve now have to pay him back or he will be banned?
Does Bob have to pay back $100 or $50?

Tough question, but in my opinion user "Bob" continued to use the marketplace while he was banned for scamming. That would mean during the time that "Steve" scammed him, he was not under the protection of MPGH's rules. Therefore, it shouldn't get Steve banned.

Generally why we say ask an admin for permission. You can scam a scammer, but it might come back to bite you.

I think the repayment is on a per case rule. Technically it's hard to enforce since they aren't a member, so it's none of our business, but there really isn't a clear existing rule I can think of. Pretty much up to Dave.

^ This. Since it occurred before he rejoined, and before the he made amends for his own scams, not our problem imo.
