What is the best In-Game Recorder?

Hey,

I'd like to Record some Gameplay, but I'm unsure which Recorder is the best.
I have never used a Screen-Recorder before, so I am not sure which Recorders are out....
(I don't mind to buy Software, so don't only name Fraps/Hypercam :P)

I hope some of you are able to tell me which Recorder is good for Gameplay!

I'd recommend you one called Fraps, it's the best imo.
I have a very good computer, and it still records as 30 - 70 fps, and with it it's impossible to play with it imo, so for you to record you need to have a GOOOOOOD computer. But I still recommend you to use Fraps if you have a good computer.

In my opinion, Xfire is the best. Hypercam flashes and makes your PC lag, and you only get 30 second recording with Fraps.

I've also heard about Camtasia Studio from a friend, is Camtasia good aswell?

Camtasia isn't a Game recorder, it's record only Desktop.

i use wegame.

for those that want to use wegame but are having trouble with stereo-mix, PM me. There are allot of sollutions on the net but none of them worked, its infact very simple to fix the error.

I also used dx tory a while back, it gives you insane high FPS compared to fraps when recording. But my laptop needs a 2nd HDD to record smoothly, As writing and reading on the same HDD just doesnt work.

That's only if you have the trial version. The full version obviously has unlimited recording. And you can the fulll version on mpgh.

I used Wegame...but it was extremely bad quality...I use fraps and it isn't as bad, but still bad quality...
