Change pingbar

1) Go to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players"
or wherever that directory is.

2) Open "config_mp.cfg"


3) Search for
seta cg_ScoresPing_Interval
seta cg_ScoresPing_MaxBars

Set both nubers to 10


You can change seta cg_ScoresPing_Interval to a number higher than 10 if you want but this is how I have it.

Now you can spot the host much easier, the host should have all the bars green.
If you are too lazy to find it, here is the whole config_mp.cfg (not recommended)

your really not telling anybody whats going to happen when we do this. it says ping editor but for all we know your trying to get us to pull out the files to connect to iwnet. you dont tell me what the finished product will be so why should i do this? a little more info please

This method has been posted on official steam forums a while ago, And it is to see a more detailled pingbar so you can see if people really lag, As one Bar = 100 ms with default settings, LAWL.

This can't cause any error, I use it since the game is out, Stop talking shit for no reason, He doesn't try to steal / rip / get you to mod something or whatever you are talking, This is a visual update only you see and CAN NOT HAVE BAD CONSEQUENCES AT ALL IF YOU ONLY CHANGE THE GOOD THINGS.

Mostly useful to determinate who is host, To kick laggers when you are host, And to see how IWNet connection fails, As it slice pingbars by 10 Instead of 100+, And shows 10 Bars total.

The lines are in your config_mp.conf

If you don't see them, Add them.

You NEED to open it with basic Notepad / UltraEdit / Notepad++ / Whatever, Lawl, What do you mean by change that.

They way crappy windows is configured to read an extension does not mean this file is this app-specific.
