I did an HSN Refund about 3 months back, this morning UPS Called and said they want to inspect for the missing package and i just hung up. anyone know what i can do?
Ps: Save all your "you're going to jail" comments.
Well HSN is also known to rebill if you did easy pay but I'm sure that'd be your concern if it happened.
As for UPS, I don't know your housing situation but you can tell them they can come by but there's nothing to inspect it's 3 months later and you didn't get it. Either that or contact the refunder that did it (if it wasn't you) to try and salvage the situation.

Just contact UPS, tell them that you have gotten a solution for the merchant and to stop the investigation.
They have to stop it if you ask for it to be stopped.
You should be ok as they can't inspect your house for the package, if they see the product in your house you can just state you got it from another retailer etc. Its a dead investigation as long as you don't frequently keep on refunding items (especially if they use UPS).
I did microsoft refund once and the ups guy came and asked for a chat and i just ignored the call and note. 2 days later noting happened and refund is done. I doubt it can lead to anything
any update matter on this ?
nope lol nothing will happen probably i wont even answer their call
Similar to OP. I did this with an IPad Air via Amazon and my they "sent" my local mail provider to inspect but nothing happened. Just do what the others have suggested above. Stick with the story + there's no package to inspect
Do not hang up on UPS and deal with it. They will keep call you.
what do they mean by "inspect"? Like actually entering your house?
you should be fine,
i had investigation from HSN
