Since i play css now, lets compare the two
1. Css graphics is better than CA, in that the players actually look like they are moving and crouching properly
2. Gameplay is better, no lag, low ping
3. More players, wayy more servers all up
4. More maps, literally thousands of maps
5. More mods, (hostage, bomb, surf, sniper[awp and scout], jailbreak, death match[like ca's elim], bunnyhop, knife, mini game, glass, towers, climbing, paintball, camping, zombie, warcraft and so many more.
6. Barely any exploits like glitches and lag bugs.
7. Way less hackers and noobs who cry.
8. An equal and well distributed amount and types of guns.

Yes but your missing one thing.

CS:S is a community run game. Its gameplay and replayability are based on the community.

CA is run solely by Nexon and its branches. There is little to no community imput other then client sided mods and of course hacks.

CA is obviously a good and well liked game.

It is shown that xfire users enjoy the game.

It is ranked #13 in FPS and #30 overall.


You may also notice that each game of the cod series is in the top 10, built on the priors reputation.
