ok im stuck.... i cannot find what is making it do the popups.... i know this thread will probably be closed too but i read thru the How to remove ads section and i did it pretty much the way it told me... it is just that this hack that i am trying to get rid of the ad's ad is really hard to find as in that the ad does not show anywhere within the txt lines.... and im sorry if i keep inconveinencing u guyz in having to close my threads.... any help?

sorry to hear that you've given up... however if you do try to finish it, you should read these two threads.

1) How to unpack MOST .dll hacks
2) How to remove ads from .dll hacks

the first thread is simple and easy to understand. there are other methods that are easy to come by as well.

the second thread is also easy. if you see the third screen shot where searching for the text string "WarPathSin" and its highlighted, you can see the menu begin just beneath it: .Chams...Crosshair...Full Bright.No Fog etc... and in the next screen shot where GlobalFailure is the highlighted text, you can see the end of the menu just above it. if the advertisement is on the menu, you'll find it with the menu items as you see in those images. however if the hack opens a web page on injection it is easiest to search for "www" or ".com" or ".net" or whatever is in the link that you can search for that is easy to find such as 3 or 4 character strings.

the important thing to remember, after knowing the file isn't packed, and you are able to successfully edit it, that your replacement is the same amount of characters as what you are removing. for example: GlobalFailure . tk is 16 characters long, so what you put in place of it has to be a link that is 16 characters long. you could do https://mpgh.net which is also 16 characters long.. if the ad you're removing is just a text advertisement then you can put whatever you want, but if its a webpage being opened then its best to put another webpage in its place.

just make sure that you leave the Credits to the creator where they are. editing the advertisements is one thing, but stealing credits is another.
