Just an overview of the new patch

Depending on your rank, the servers you may enter are now restricted. SFC+ are only allowed in many servers, Jackson server and a new server the Golf server are free to everyone. The access to Black Market was once again raised to silver grade ($100+ spent) (GAY)

You unlock new default items with rank now, like improved hats, m92s, m9s, and backpacks. Some are only improved visually. Starting at CSM3 you unlock new versions of the m16, highest being at 3 star general. They have integrated scopes. You receive some of these in your inbox. They are considered "permanent" and can be discarded. DO NOT TRY IT TO FIND OUT lol. Also, NX noob specialists can now carry a backpack slot along with a specialist slot. Say hello to m32 noobs with 2 primary guns

Anyways, now the hackers that are low ranks are restricted to a couple servers, lag seems to be fixed halfway, and there are some new weapons to try out. Overall, I'm satisfied with the new patch

Nx credit counts, yes.

The m69he grenade is only 100gp cheaper for 1 day, yet not discounted at 7, 30, or 90 days. Same with other grenades. Yet the NX versions of the Frag Pack, and m69he-nl are half price. The m32 is also discounted. WTF?

Well... I checked it. I got a new hat, new m9, and backpack. But where's the weapon?

Or... do I somehow magically get one when I level up?
