Super Knife Mod = No knife?

Okay so I got the Super Knife mod. I did exactly as the instructions said to do. When I join a game, I take out my knife. It's just the red X and nothing. I bought a GI Shovel, same thing. Only after getting frustrated in a melee only match and just holding down the mouse button or clicking furiously a grayed out box where the GI Shovel would usually be appeared. It was there for about 2 seconds before disappearing. I tried to get the old REZ file back. (Yes I'm a nub I forgot to back up my files) I used the ones in the Mod Section thing. It didn't work. I REALLY don't wanna redownload the ENTIRE game again for this 1 REZ file... So

1) Can anyone post their CURRENT as of TODAY or earlier file of the Melee?

OR

2) Can someone teach me how to make Super Knife work?

Maybe you use an old texture of the superknife.

Yep he sure did no just download from Corndog's link and extract to the game folder move and replace..

You have forgotten to take one out prolly. And you have 2 right?

If it asks you to replace the original click yes..
I recommend moving original to desktop prior to extracting

Okay well i redownloaded the entire game again. I put the original file in a folder. In another folder and tucked it deep into the abyss of my comp. Safe and sound. I then put in the folder for the super knife it works.

After about an hour of using it and pwning going 50 and 1 in Junk Flea OMA knife only. After I use it for about 4 seconds it says, Connection to Server Ended. And crashes the game.

If can take up to 10 seconds or instantly depending on the amount of time in between the time i join and the time i use my knife.

Ex:
Use knife as soon as I get in = Instant boot

Use knife after dodging people for about a min = 5-10 seconds b4 boot.

Any suggestions?

SCRATCH THAT! It boots instant now no matter what. I guess I might as well just take it off and go legit again.
