What pc upgrades?!?

Hey, Im thinkin bout updating my pc a bit but im not sure what to upgrade..here are my specs

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)

4gb DDR2 G.Skill Ram

250gb HD

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT(tuned a bit higher but not much)

Motherboard:Gigabyte S-series GA-P31-S3G

Computer Case: NZXT Tempest

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236)


I know i need a fewww new things but what first?!?

Your screens suk ass.... Get a new graphics card, get an i7 processor, if that's a desktop why does it only have 250GB..... Upgrade the HD if you have the money, also if you have the money look into maybe a SSD.
At the least upgrade the RAM to DDR3 (My lappy had 3Gigs of it prbbly kik you comps ass), check if your motherboard is up to the upgrades and etc. And buy better one if needed, upgrade to Win7.

The screen is fine, no need to go higher unless you want to watch Blu-Ray for PC which is dumb, if you wish to play games like BFBC2 and MW2 on highest settings than get a 275GTX, 285GTX, or ATI 5770 Radeon. I also recommend a higher HD as Arhk said, SSD are useless, only good for faster data transfer by a cinch. DDR3 is also useless, you will probably see little to none performance upgrade. No point to the i7 also, unless you do CPU intensive programs, because games only use 2 cores, no need for 4.

hmm i only keep a few things installed on this pc anyways so 250gb is fine for me and i am thinking about a new graphics card but most likely not because i can play any game thats out so far on their highest settings, just without dx 10/11..the ram has good specs and is good for what I play and the mobo is amazing (for what it is) and good for overclocking..so i think i would go with Distinctions idea get windows 7 and possibly a new card..after i get my car..

I recommended i7 processor since it's seen as the most powerful media processor. Good for gaming, he can get a two core instead of 4 obviously.

get an xbox 360. way cheaper, same graphics, is way cheaper, and doesn't need upgrades all the time.

Actually PC has the best graphics, just takes more money to run. Highest quality on games far exceeds game quality on PS3 and xBox360
