How to kill of mega lagg(updated)

Okay, first, please accept that you may know some of this, but this is for people who don't. Please don't flame that you know this.

This was done on Win7 64bit.
Some parts may vary depending on your system.


-Recommended-
1. The first step is close off all programs, including your web browser.
-Optional-
2. Open up Windows Task Manager and close off your antivirus
2a.Download GameBooster (optional)
Game Booster | Fast Game Accelerator | Free Accelerator
2b.Re-Install Combat Arms (once every two weeks)
3.Delete any mods (they sometimes create lagg)
-Recommended-
4.Open up explorer and find your combat arms folder
4a.Right click and select properties.
4b.Now go to general and click advanced
4c.Check off "Compress contents to save disk space"
4d.Wait for it to compress (may take from 5-30 minutes)
-Recommended-
5.Start up any Hacks, then start combat arms
5a.Wait to login screen and press the windows key
5ba.Right click your process bar (your bar at the bottom) and right click
and select Start Windows Task Manager
5bb.Do CTRL+ALT+DEL and select Windows Task Manager
5c. Right click Engine.exe (aka Combat Arms program)
5d. Click on Set Priority and select the highest choice (Realtime)
6.You should be set to play Combat Arms!

Antivirus cannot be stopped through task manager unless it's just complete and total shit

My suggestions: game booster/ Stop DWM.exe / Get a better computer

RAM usually isnt the problem though, it's your graphics card
