Am I banned?

Okay, so Im playing with my friends, and were about to play search and destroy. When the map has loaded and the bar is fully white, an MW2 window pops up and says "Cheat detected".

I was like WTF!!?!+1+1+!?!

I have been using cheats before, but when Im playing with my friends Im not using hacks.

Now when I open up MW2 it loads the main menu and then it stops doing everything, then the MW2 console pops up labeled "IW4 Console" pops up followed by a window labeled "Error" says "Cheat detected".

I dont even log into the IWNet, and in my settings it says "VAC status: In good standing"

I also know VAC flags and bans people after up to 2 months. No need reminding me.

Please help me.

Okay, so I checked my Vac status yet again, I discovered it said: Banned from some secure servers because of a cheating infraction.

Im sad.

Is there anything I can do? Is it permanent? What do you think I should do? Is buying a new copy of the game the only solution, if so, do I need to register it on a new account?

Also, I havent been using hax that much, is it possible being banned by playing on modded servers?

Here are your answers:
Yes, as hesjan said, you will have to buy a new keyshop (look for cheap keyshops on google).
You will have to make an new acc. in order to use your new key.
