Cross modding!!help

When i start cross modding i get confused.i heard its really easy i just dont get it.For example "now what u do is rename the UZI [U]ANIBASE[U/] file to the M16A3 PVMLA

now get REZINJECT and inject it into GUNS_M_PV_AR"
What am i soppose to do there.any help would b appreiated.

Yeah ive been to all the modding sections that could help, and im not allowed to get photoshop cuz its stealing.So all i ccan do is cross mod but idk what it means by renaming it then injecting it.Thank you though

um it should make new file
when u inject
it should make a file that says.reznew
remove the old rez
and rename new file to .rez

Dont remove the old rez, its the orginal file, I should just rename it to [php]backup_name.rez[/php]

Its so easy... just rename then inject to GUNS_M_PV_AR

um... rename what the uzi anti base thing or the mpvl m16a3.and were do i rename it the thing i already put on my desktop

once u inject the uzi anibase renamed to M16A3 PVMLA into GUNS_M_AR go to ur combat arms game folder there should be a extra file in there named as GUNS_M_AR.reznew ( default location is c:nexon:combat arms, unless u moved it)

find the original file of GUNS_M_AR and rename it as GUNS_M_AR.rezbak

then rename the GUNS_M_AR.reznew as GUNS_M_AR.rez

ok then ur done im gona post some pics to help u here they are

the others ar'nt show as rez files in this pic cause it would be to massive to show but u still get the picture

ok thanks that really started to clear things up thanks a million,but how do u do that step before it. When u put it on the desktop.thanks for the picture im more of a visual learner thats why this is hard.
