Na it was crap, it really could have done without the main character, his poor acting and lack of character substance really spoiled the movie, they should have just based it on Nick Cage and his daughter and left kick-ass out of it all together..

*sigh* i don't think you realize the point of the side-characters and how if you focus on them with their obvious lack of any further advancement it would have been utter failure.

Just because you like one part of a movie, doesn't mean the whole movie would be better if they just focused on stuff that was like that one part.
