As for your first point, that isn't what I meant I was replying to this:

Movies, books and other things like that, aren't exactly the same as religion, movies/books are ment to amuse, inspire and to teach (and to manipulate :P)
but people take books and movies less serious than religion. after seeing a movie we laugh about it, maybe we learn't something new (or we think we did) but after a while we forget all about it.
living in a strict religious eviroment is different, it's a waste. Why live following stict rules for nothing? why live in fear for something that maybe doesn't even exist? (for people believing an Allah or God or another omnipotent beeing) Religion was ment to explain, to teach and to help living a good life. We have the explaination, we have laws, we have teacher teaching us. We should no longer fear something that was spawned from our own fantasies. We should cut the cr*p and do good because it is good, not because some old book full of fairly tails (or maybe realy stories) tells us to do good.
