Weird thing about cod

Hej guys,

This isn't a problem involving hacks or what so ever...
I just downloaded steam, download the game and installed it.

Now the weird thing is, every time I play the game and I close it (quit) ,I can't launch it again...
When I double click the shortcut on my desktop, I get little the steam box wich sais preparing to launch game, it goes away and nothing happens...
When I restart my pc I can launch the game again. Another weird thing is, I can only launch the game right after my pc has started... When I wait 5 mins, or when I go check my emails or something else first, I can't launch it.
Anyone have a idea what this could be?
I'ts kinda anoying, everytime I wanna play codMW2 I gotta restart my pc, unless I launched the game at the start and used alt-tab to do something else
Oh, I also can't launch CSS with my steam...
I reinstalled it like 10 times, just won't work

A quick fix would be re-formatting your computer, that should probably work, or else youll have to contact Steam Support. I cant figure out the cause, so re-formatting is the only advice I can give you :P

yah, I've thought about that too, but it's a fresh windows 7 install... about 1 month old. I don't wanna reinstall everything ^^So boring and time consuming
And I've contacted steam, no answer...

Ok just reformat your pc. I think iv'e reformatted my pc's maybe 50-100 times. So don't tell me its boring to do it one time.

You have no idea how many times I've done it before...
Another annoying thing about reformatting is that I have to completely reinstall my wow game, wich takes like 2 days to dowload every patch cause I can't back it up...

Okay so make a fucking partition on your harddisk for games so you never have to reinstall them. I have a partition wiith steam so steam and the games is always installed
