AlterIW Hosting Aid

AlterIW Hosting Aid is a script that seriously cuts down on the time you are alt+tabbed into the console when hosting a server.
meone becouse finding out his ID and then kicking him takes ages?
You just don't like to play certain maps and would like to skip automatically?
Always wanted to send a bunch of welcome messages with the press of just 2buttons?

If you answered some of these questions with "yes", continue reading.

Features
- Fully functional GUI
- Automatically input commands needed to host a game
- Send up to 4 welcome messages or 2 warning messages with the press of 2 buttons
- Kick players with a convinient kick-window
- Edit gamemode settings with only a few clicks
- In Lobby: change map, select random map, automatically change maps according to a maplist
- Set drop-chances for Care-Package and Emergency Airdrop to pre-defined values.
- Preliminary support for ban-lists (only collects data for now and saves it in your mw2 dir)

In order to function properly, you need to run the game in windo mode.
The overlay won't work in fullscreen mode and there might be problems with the kick window, too.
If you want the game to "feel" more fullscreen-ish, try using Gamers Window Relocator.

Hotkeys
Alt+Numpad0: During the search for a lobby, puts you into your own lobby, making you host most of the time
Alt+Numpad1: Enables numerical ping, shows fps + who is host
Alt+Numpad2: Sends up to 4 welcome messages
Alt+Numpad3: Sends up to 2 Warning messages
Alt+Numpad+: Shows a transparent overlay with Player Names and IDs (high resolution recommended)
Alt+Numpad-: Hides the overlay
Alt+Numpad4: Shows a kick-window with player Names and IDs
CapsLock+Alt+Numpad4: As above, without refreshing Names/IDs
Alt+Numpad6: Opens a series of input boxes, asking you for Gamemode Settings (customisable)
Alt+Numpad8: Opens a series of input boxes, asking you for Care-Package drop chances (customisable)
CapsLock+Alt+Numpad8: Automatically inputs your pre-defined default Care-Package drop chances
Alt+Numpad9: Opens a series of input boxes, asking you for Emergency Airdrop drop chances (customisable)
CapsLock+Alt+Numpad9: Automatically inputs your pre-defined default Emergency Airdrop drop chances

Lobby Commands
Alt+Numpad7: Gives you a list of all maps and asks you for the next map
CapsLock+Alt+Numpad7: Randomly selects the next map for you

Kick-Messages (cheater/item Abuse)
Default Values for Airdrop-Chances
Gamemode-Settings
Custom Maplist
Custom Binds

All of these settings can be edited in the .ini file.
If you have a .ini from a previous version, add

Code: Select all
[Binds]
bind1_name = [name of your custom bind]
bind1_val = [console commands of you custom bind. Seperated by semicolons]
for up to 5 binds, just increase the number (bind2_name and so on)


Version History
v1.1: Removed the 10players minimum and included a .txt file with all the Hotkeys.
v2.0: I know it's kind of a big step in version numbers, but this version comes with a fully functional GUI and also some prelimiary support for banlists.
v2.0.1: Fixed an issue with the capslock+alt+num7 command
v2.1: Some more bugfixes, detailed manual.
v2.2: Automation, nicer custom binds, added some binds to the GUI, party_minplayers and sv_maxping customisable

before you click find game just press numpad 0 + alt and you will be 100% host (it will take a while to get a decent amout of people in "your" server)
