AVA skin hack is possible, just 1 more step needed (READ THIS)

Ok there was a previous thread about a user begin able to open a upk file but has a testure2d format which was unable to open. Well that was wrong. There is another method of extracting a upk file but with working textures .

Heres a screenshot :



As you can see the left is the working format, tga , the right is the one by U_B_H or something, forgot his name.

This is the proof that it works using VTFEdit



However as we all know, to use it ingame it has to be in a upk format. Thats the part I'm stuck at. So if anyone knows how to convert it back to a upk format, it would be of a great help. So if someone does that, and if the game doesn't scan for original files and it works. Then we would F*** AVA up as you know that earning cash ingame is close to impossible. So with a hack, it would be much much easier.

By the way this thread is not to diss U_B_H, his method works if you can open a texture2d format file but for now no one knows how to. Thanks for reading.

LOL DUDE! You don't have all the tools I have, but I have all the tools you have. Don't be jealous just because I progress faster and in a shorter time then you. Take criticism and improve, instead of just thinking you are the best. More screenshots, this time with the FILE YOU EXTRACTED IN YOUR THREAD. Should "look" like AVA lol.

thx for the info i wanted to see if we could just extract them.. i wanted to use some texture files from a.v.a to get ideas or even use some of them (if possible) into combat arms.
