If you just want the sniper just scroll down. If you want the tut keep reading. :3
Alright, lots of you guys have already seen my other camo creating tut, but that was a bit simpler than this. The first part is the same as my old thread.
First, pick a gun, I will be using the L96A1, again.
Without changing layers, desaturate it. (CTRL+SHIFT+U)
Now pick a color, and choose your foreground. The colors you choose are very important. It will change the way the gun looks and the type of camo you make. Pick a somewhat dark color for your foreground, and white as your background. Create a new layer. (CTRL+SHIFT+N) Then got to Filter>Render>Clouds.
After that, go to Filter>Artistic>Smudge Stick. Change the settings to 0, 0, 10.
Now it changes, instead of doing cutout, you are going to do Filter>Texture>Stained Glass. Change the settings to 20, 1, 0. You don't want any lighting thing in it at ALL. You'll have something like this.
Now, set that layer to overlay. You'll get something like this.
Create a new layer, with a lighter color do the exact same thing up until you're at Stained Glass. You want to make the cell size ranged from 2-4. I usually pick 2 though. Alright, afterwards, it should look somthing like this.
Alright, set this layer to overlay and you're done! It's that easy.
You'll end up with something like this, and if you're doing something with a scope, erase the bits over the scope.
Here's an example when you change the color, and size of the cells. Looks way different.
Hope it was easy to understand. It's 11:00 PM here, and I'm feeling sleepy.
