Modern Warfare 2 Error

Ok so i downloaded MW2 and I need the 1.195 patch i downloaded ita nd put all the files in the folder and when i run it i get a Error saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application". I wanna know if im doing something wrong or can anyone give me the link to the 1.195 working patch.

Okay what files did you put in the folder?
If its alteriwnet then open the alteriwnetconfig.exe and write the name you want and the start iw4mp.exe

yeah i ahve altwer_confige i ran it and did all that and i started and i ge that error am i missing a file or something. and ill post a SS soon to show u wat files i got

This means you need to get Visual C++ 2008 redistributable.

can i post the microsoft download or should i just let him googe it
