Error When Starting MW2

Ok so i downloaded the cracked MW2 and the alteriw.net patch and all i put all the files in correctly and when i start MW2 i get a error saying "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click OK to terminate the application." Ive done everything i can think of from cleaning my registry to redownloading the whole game. If there's anything anyone have up their sleeve to help my mw2 "cracked version" work i would appriciate your help very much. THank You

B: Make sure you have alterIWnet installed.
C: Re-format
