For the past couple of days alot has been going on in the CA section and Mpgh as a whole. An Ex-member of Mpgh named [E]Я4G3Я has terrorized the site with his keylogger, made various threats against the site, and caused mass paranoia in our staff and members.

First off, on behalf of the staff of Mpgh, I would like publicly apologize for all that has been going on in the CA section. Due to a lack of judgment and carelessness in attachment approval and a lack of knowledge in the area of virus detection we were circum to alot of problems that could've easily been avoided with the proper training of our staff.

After talking to [E]Я4G3Я we've found the source of his anger to be the banning of his previous account "[E]Я4G3Я" from Mpgh. Although a pathetic reason in my opinion, I can see why he would be angry. Gaining posts legitly without spam is very hard but that is no justification for what he did. He requested his account back in exchange for the accounts that he keylogged, but sadly, Mpgh doesn't negotiate with site terrorism . We offered him one ultimatum, the chance to start new on Mpgh with a "clean" slate, though he would never be able to release a program on Mpgh again. He declined the offer but promised his attempts at keylogging would stop. Although these are comforting words, that DOES NOT mean our problems are over. Time will tell


Steps being taken to ensure this won't happen again

• IDA disassembling training for Mpgh Staff
• Virus awareness training for Mpgh Staff
• Stricter enforcement of the Rules

Hopefully by taking these steps we can make the community a safer place for you guys.

anyways, if there is some one next to get hacked, its only for the noobs now (or old newbs members ) that will download hacks from untrusted pepole, now its another great reason to get MPGH / FTG vip for a month, no keylogers guaranteed xD (i will never be hacked, i never run noobs ass hacks, i got a minimum of hacking skills /)

I was his first victim on msn , because I forgot my combat arms, and he told me that he had a program to recover my pass. then thats when i spammed all the boards and crashed the site :P (hey i wanted mi acc back. but mpgh was crashed for 30+min)

I'm sure hes changed his old IP by just reseting his router and just hiding his new IP which is not banned which he doesn't want anyone to know. Shit hook me up a packet sniffer. I pay a service that you can buy VPS's from I got unlimited bandwidth which means I could DDoS someone well its kind of like DDoS'ing its just 1 big smack then you're done for anywhere from an hour to weeks depending on how hard you hit them. I recommend WooServers for this if you are the type who wants to DDoS someone. Errrrm don't infract me for advertising just trying to explain.

xD staff is nooooobs dont know how to check for viruses, i bet even after their steps they cant get it right all the time, it takes alot of knowledge and training to know how to perform a complete analysis. suspect a trojan? have me test it (trojans wont work on me cuz of my network configurations) and i have a complete virus lab on my system and YES i have proper training in malware detection and NO im no noob in this area. keyloggers? no problem, i have keyscramblers + i will know the exact IP they have and will report them Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home

ever suspect someone is using a trojan/virus/keylogger then have a staff member contact me with the download and i will analyze the file at a 95% detection rate (i keep up to date with 0day releases that spread around dark corners of the internet)

Shutup choob. When addressing the public with a fault in one persons actions the whole site is accountable. That doesn't mean "staff" failed that means that individual person does. The majority of our staff knows how to disassemble and debug. Don't talk if you have no idea what you're talking about.
