    Interview with Mark Lamia.

I found this on a website and I thought ''I share it on MPGH''
    here it is:

In an interview with GameTrailers.com, Treyarch head of staff Mark Lamia lays out the details of the upcoming title's Singleplayer and Co-Operative experience.

    Singleplayer Campaign
Contrary to earlier rumors, the Vietnam War is just a segment of the campaign that encompasses a wide range of the Cold War's covert operations. Lamia explains “Our game is not a game about the Vietnam War, it takes place during an era that also includes the Vietnam War”. Whilst little is confirmed, its a safe assumption that your missions in Vietnam and elsewhere will be unconventional and involve operations behind enemy lines.

The explanation for the move from conventional World War 2 operations (as seen in Treyarch's previous titles) to the world of black operations was that the setting “inspired all sorts of creativity and let us go and do things that Call of Duty hadn’t done yet” and hope that it will create fresh, new gameplay experience.

Encouragingly, Treyarch has been doing its homework by researching these operations and talking to special forces experts on both sides of the Berlin Wall. This has shaped many of their gameplay ideas such as the special types of ammunition and the crossbow which Lamia refers to as a "a great stealth weapon”

    Charecter Devolopment
It was also revealed that the tatooed man seen in the trailer is called Woods. As in previous Call of Duty games, you will play as more than one soldier, but for the first time the player will have a voice. The game's long timespan allows the charecter's to change and devolop and it progresses. The combination of these two elements could lead to a much richer and deeper singleplayer experience.

    Co-Op
Whilst Lamia didn’t go into any detail about Multiplayer, he did divulge a little about co-op, saying that co-op will have unique game modes that offer a different experience than single-player campaign. Most fans will be hoping that this is the return of the popular Nazi Zombies mode (if Treyarch can find a way to get Nazis into the Cold War era, that is).

Lamia wraps up by telling us once again that Call of Duty Black Ops will be available on November 9th on PS3, 360, PC as well as the Wii. However, the last line of the interview will probably hit the hardest for a lot of players, as Lamia says, with a cheeky smile: "and the PC will have dedicated servers”

Yeah dedicated servers are awesome, although it only has one server provider for the dedicated server, its GameServers.. but lets hope that they can keep everyone playing online without any lag.

well da no nuke the only reason u can use it in cod6 mw2 is cause all rules have been broken an there are practically no laws against it in the future. when there are cold war games in the past treyarch might really just go with history and not do anything that wouldent happen in that era. but if they decide to go with the parallel universe (in my opinion would be more fun) that all hell Breaks loose
