I'm trying to learn about how bots are made via reading memory locations of NPCsrself, so I thought I would try with Diablo 1 since its old, but I'm already overwhelmed by that. Making trainers for it was really easy just searching for values and then again when they change, but I don't know how I would approach finding NPC locations. I though I could try pausing the game, listing all values, unpausing and waiting until an NPC moves near me, pausing again, and repeating until I can try to determine what has changed when they move but that doesn't seem very efficient and didn't work.

I'm using ArtMoney right now also, but I hope I can get some suggestions on other methods to go about doing this or some open source trainers/tutorials available for RPGs.
