1. Just because we created units of measurement of measure time doesn't mean we created time. Like just because we have rulers doesn't mean we created length.
2. Our minds don't effect the flow of time, they perceive a flow of time and it's that perception that's being manipulated, you're not effecting time, outside of your head, people still perceive time going at the same rate.

Well it's true that time as we know it is not constant. We're learning about this in physics along with Einsteins theory of relativity, and it's confusing the shit out of me.

Basically there is one constant in the universe, the speed of light. Our perception of time varies depending on our frame of reference. If someone was moving at the speed of light or close to it, they would still think of time passing at the same rate as it normally does and they would reach point A after a few second say. However, to an observer watching the person while standing still, they would appear to take a few minutes to get to the same point (A). It's trippy ass shit I tell you. I can't wrap my head around the fact that time as we know it isn't constant.

I think whenever you don't focus on the time, it will go by faster.

For example, if you focus on the second hand on a watch it will seem like it takes for ever to make one full rotation. Now if you go on and play a game, you aren't focused on time. 2 hours seem like 20 minutes. Before you know it it's 4 am.

I know I might be wrong. But that's how it feels for me, every time I don't focus on time it just seems to go faster. If I'm in class and I want the period to end it seems to take forever. Now if I don't pay attention and do my work with out focusing or even thinking about time, it goes faster. Time goes at a steady pace, but I believe that if you don't really pay mind to it it will go by faster.
