They will prob both use Steam, Steam has NO effect on servers besides they backup your data, IWNet is the one to blame for your problems in MW2. Thus Steam = good

Ewwww Punkbuster, Punkbuster is the hackers worst nightmare >.< you can't code a hack to bypass it (easily) unless you have a shit ton of experience, nor can you post a public hack it will be detected in a few minutes or days. <3 Steam, easy to bypass, and not greadt about detecting hacks ^^.
