Possible to play AlterIWnet and normal at the same pc ?

I have a legit copy of mw2 on my pc.
Is it possible to download AlterIWnet and play on the same pc ?
Like i close the legit version , and i start the cracked one ?

I play them both, when I want to hack, I switch to Alter.
Copy you mw2 folder from Steamapps, put it somewhere else, put the patches from Alter and VOILA!

Get the patches from here.

I have both installed as well. It works perfectly.
I downloaded the full version of AlterIWNET off some torrent site.
You don't even need to install it, just place the files on your HDD et voilà.

When I use alterIWNET (for modding), I close steam just to be sure.

First do not double post, use the button.
Second if you download the ,,ready to play'' version you don't need to patch it anymore! I gave you 2 solutions, choose one, don't mix them!
