Closest thing to swords would be knife with range turned up and certain damage level. Then there is the Laser sight thing but other thank that, can't help you much there.

swords: a knife that keeps on scrren(just like Cross fire, or CS, or any other game) and when u press E u melee with it

Laser: u gotta make texture for that, like instead of the flash of the gun be of explosion, kinda laser...

The closest I could imagine getting to the laser effect is the following (not tested):
1. remove all bullet and weapon visuals and effects
2. replace the gun sounds with something that looks like a laser (maybe NV sound? dunno..)
3. make a script that briefly activates the red gun laser when fired

It would still look crappy tho, I think..
A sword will be hard to make since you can't make your own models..

making a laser sword aint hard if u think about it.. using these commands

u can work with those adjusting the length of the laser to look like a sword.. and the width as well.. and then adjust the melee range (perk_extendedMeleeRange "176") to match the swords length. (if you give ur self 'defaultweapon_mp' with the laser itll look more realistic)
you can also change where the laser comes from*right side of screen* to *left side of screen*
