That movie is absolutely 100% a piece of shit.

What i liked:
-The backgrounds/costumes were all well made.

What i didn't like:

Character design
-Every character didn't look/act right. Literally every single one had a huge flaw.
-Ang: His cheeks were like fatkid cheeks, he looked very.....brittle.
-Kitara: She's fucking white.
-Sokka: He's muscled, about 18-20, and he has no jokes, the entire movie.
-Zuko: His "scar" looks like a coffee scar. Cmon man. He also has long hair, and he's Indian.
-Iro: Not fat.
-Evil General: He's Indian.
-Fire Lord:He's Indian.

-First off lets discuss this race bullshit. Ok, the only kingdom in the movie that was correct is earth.(asian) Fire nation, is completely made up of Indians. It makes all of them look nothing like the show. I'm not a white supremist, but come the fuck on man, at least have them similar looking. It literally seems that Shamalan just put them in there because they are indian, they suck at acting and really shouldn't be there.

The Action
-There is two very important things that fail in this movie actionwise.

1. They make these gay-ass martial arts dances when "bending" elements. In the show it was VERY easy to see what the movements were about, in the movie they practically just do a little martial arts dance every time they do an attack. It is literally the shittiest way to show "bending" i can think of.

2. All the fire attacks are from another source of fire. The show has them able to create fire with every punch, but this one makes them dance to use one firebolt from a lantern.

The Story.

-Pretty much all of the story happens in bizarre ways. Basically if you didn't watch the show, its just all these dramatic moments with no explanation before besides a sentence. It literally happens WAY too slow. I hated this movie so much, if they just skipped to the last part, i would like it a lot more.

The main reasons you shouldn't see this movie

1. They can't pronounce basic names or sayings. "Ong" instead of "Ang"(the whole movie, and thats the main character). At one of the last scenes the guy says "Yin and Yung". Its like they were trying to be nice to "japanese cultrue" or some bullshit.

2. If you saw the show, this one will kill your dreams of anime-to-movie adaptations and give you no hope for the future. It has every character portrayed wrong and is basically taking the concept of the show, and nothing else.

3. It has as much action as the last Shamalan movie(the happening). It just fucking sucks action wise. All the "bending" takes forever and its only one projectile at a time.

4. The giant fish isn't there at the end, and he doesn't even fucking make the tsunami, he just makes this big wave and then puts it back.(fucking pussy).
