ive done that now when i try to run mw2 this thing shows up and it says

"The zone\english\patch_mp.ff is incorrect. You might have incorrectly overwritten these files.
Click OK to be directed to the alterWInet download page." I did that but it says the link is broken...

Did you completely re-copy your MW2 directory? Or did you just re-install alterIWnet? It WILL work if you start fresh. I'm sure.. and if it doesn't I don't know what I can do.
