A concept

So recently with SOTW and LAOTW the voting imo has become very bad
eg. this week MTH tried to solicit votes
as well tags that deserve votes arent getting them and crap ones are
in other words people are voting for friends and for other reasons instead of quality of artwork and aesthetics ie artistic merit
so my solution is to put together a team of around 20 people who will be the people who vote on SOTW and LAOTW
I would like to hear your guys opinions on this idea

Because if you pick the team, they could already know that person, and based off of previous ties / recent friendships etc; the possibility of choosing votes for some other reason than the artwork could happen.
--Good because soliciting for votes wouldn't happen.

I'm 50% on the idea.
How about a preliminary voting timeframe, then final voting stage?

and if people do vote badly they will just be taken off
