Why You're VAC Banned without playing the game once

Heya, Im making this thread to warn you...

If you have bought MW2 and you assign it to an account wich already has Counterstrike: Source or any other VAC game, And you got VAC banned on that game
DO NOT add MW2 to that account, as You'll be automatticly VAC banned on MW2 when you got banned on an early game...

If you Buy a VAC game, add MW2, get banned on the VAC game, you are NOT banned on MW2
If you buy a VAC game, get banned on the VAC game, add mw2, you ARE banned on MW2

Thats just how it works, saw some questions out there, so ehre you go

EDIT - Well if you get banned from a VAC game, go into Settings > Account tab > select “Click here for details” under VAC Status. Then, check which games have been affected by the ban. Done and dusted! If you buy a game that is on that list and and install it on the banned account well bad luck!

lol i dont think they may even do that . those games are from seperate companies . so if they ban u on cod without hacking u can sue them .

Unless it changed in the mean time, VAC bans by game engine.
So if you're banned on one game, you will be banned on any other game using the same engine.
I don't think any other game uses the same engine as MW2. Not sure tho.

But if you're banned in say TF2 you'll be banned from CS: S, DoD:S, HL2: DM etc as well.


Another reason why your unused MW2 might be banned is when someone already used your cd key. (If you bought a key online for example)

exactly Game engine,
plus i can provide a valid screenshot of my steam games where i have Counter strike source (vac banned) with mw2 legit no vac ban.. this thread is a waste. vac is cs:s, vac2 is mw2 or similar whatevz.

Fake and gay, I have been vacced from css about 6 months before i got modern warfare 2
I hack on modern warfare 2 and still havnt been banned
I guess im a lucky one

Aimbottin in zombie survival is fun, but I use my private lua aimbot xD unbannable =D

I have no idea what u are talking abt, since i dont have garry mod, but even tho u can hack it, why would VAC waste their time banning people who hack zombie survival mode? do u aimbot online players playing zombies or NPCs???
