Photoshop Signature

I was wondering if can i use a texture (from google images) i desaturated and edit and enter it in the Signature of the Week.
Sometime like this image:

i want to enter an image into the Signature of the Week but i dont know if can use a texture found on google image and edit like in the picture. The background of the image in the picture is really a tree trunk texture off of google.
