Your Application thread seems like the applicants must choose the top 3 from a list?
Don't people have their own opinions about style / theme's etc; and not 1 set perception on things.
are you trying to make it so you choose people with good editing skills and the same opinion as you?

We asked them to pick the top 3 so we can get a taste for their personal opinion. Hence why I made sure Scarecrow picked tags which covered a whole range of styles and skill levels.
