Dammit To Hell, I have A DLL virus attaching to my explorer.exe

I think I tracked it down to "zitgfsfc" I don't think thats supposed to attach to anything is it. In my Run>msconfig>startup I have "zitgfsfc.dll", And I am vary tempted to delete it, I don't want to delete any system files may someone assure that this is not a system file.

Something is messing with my explorer.exe, my comp will process for no reason and everytime i end something it always ends explorer.exe. So i dont have any icons n stuff

I dont think Microsoft would ever put a .dll in there with that name lol. Probably some lil nerds idea of fun. I would try to delete it and see what happens. But i dunno

advise geting win petrol (not sure i spelled it right) well it helps you deal with iexploror addons you can slected them to be deleted on rebot and you can also use it to mannage other shit it uses like 1-2% cpu useage if you leave it on i get you link when i gets home i get these type of shit all the time

Shit. This here is what we call a rootkit. The WORST TYPE OF VIRUS you can ever get. Good luck kid. Hope that helps. You can probably get rid of it by removing it from startup from attaching itself to the thing. But if it's one of those that manually assemble explorer.exe and then you're fucked over. Try maybe system restore or formating your computer.

i had this and its very easy to get rid of bit anoying cuz it makes alot of randon dll add ons calls them "internet helpers" its always like a randon 5-8 letter name at random
but mostley all anti virus progroms get rid of this get nod32
