Mini-Map Radar/HUD UAV Fix

Hello everyone. I've seen tons of people latly posting help threads for stuff that looks like this:



There is a somewhat simple fix for this, and you have some options.


1. MW2 Configuration Ultility by donutdan 1441
If you are using Steam, all you need to do is run the application. It will automatically fix your radar! (Very easy and recommended, no installation required)
Same thing with alterIWnet!
If you are using aIW you will need to specify your Cod directory upon application startup



2. Delete/Edit your config_mp.cfg
Navigate to your Cod Directory and to the folder 'players'. Then delete the file.



If you do not want to completely reset your settings then just open your config_mp.cfg
And find "compassSize "1"
Then you're done!
Alternatively you can enter compassSize "1" in the console for a fast fix.

I suppose all those people played RTD v2.

Btw you don't find compassSize "1". You find compassSize and it would eventually be something like 0.001. Just change that to 1 / remove it.

Verify integrity of game cache will give you back any missing files.
Steam > Mw2 Properties > Local Files > Verify > Wait
