I don't think there were many. Not even the Holocaust had worse war crimes conducted then those in Unit 731. Genocide doesn't constitute for war crime.

Systematic extermination of retards, gays, gypsies, jews

Killing of 20 million civilians = worse than plague bombs.

Compared to the experiments conducted at Unit 731, the mass murdering of those civilians looks almost humane.

At least they were exterminated using Zyklon B which causes only unsusual sensations before death.

This is nothing compared to vivisections performed on live humans without the use of anaesthesia. Prisoners had limbs amputated in order to study blood loss. Some prisoners had their stomachs surgically removed and the esophagus reattached to the intestines. Flame throwers were tested on humans. Humans were tied to stakes and used as targets to test germ-releasing bombs, chemical weapons, and explosive bombs. Prisoners were injected with inoculations of disease, disguised as vaccinations, to study their effects. To study the effects of untreated venereal diseases, male and female prisoners were deliberately infected with syphilis and gonorrhea, then studied. Prisoners were subjected to other torturous experiments such as being hung upside down to see how long it would take for them to choke to death, having air injected into their arteries to determine the time until the onset of embolism, and having horse urine injected into their kidneys. All this without the use of depressants or anaesthesia. All the test subjects were ALIVE and could feel EVERYTHING.

Not just a plague bomb now is it.

So the death of 5000 people being dissected alive is worse than 5 million being shot, gassed, starving to death, getting dysentery, or just freezing to death?

Actually it is expected to be more in the vicinity of 580,000 with 200,000 a direct result of biological warfare alone. The figure is also much higher if count the miscarriages and indirect deaths caused by the pollution of the surrounding area.

And yes to me the sadistic torture and murder of 580,000 men, women and children is worse than the near instantaneous death of 5-6 million.
