    When I enter the game it shows that there are 101085 players online

    open ur mw2 folder.
    there would be a folder called zone.(open it)
    then open a folder called (english)
    In that search for a file called 'mp_playlists.ff'
    delete that file.
    now start ur game. it will download new playlists.

    it shows that there are 101085 players because your mp_playlists.ff file has been corrupted. So delete it and start your game again. Now it will work.

    Solved I downloaded a patch from alteriw.net
