For Engine if you can't open with IDA do this :
Open IDA, click Go, drag the file in.
Click Manual,


Then hit OK and hit OK again.
It'll ask you "Load segment ' '?", hit yes.
Then on the next one with the weird characters for the name hit no.
For the rest just press yes/OK until it loads up.

for cracking security, you will pay more attention on Ollydbg and IDA Pro Advanced
since this is the best and most all reverser use

you can build a crippleware/demoware. this most secure.

but of course, if they use carding method, then those are useless

Use PE explorer. Same thing & can do .dll's a lot easier.
(It is a paid program, but the trial never actually expires.)

Immunity Debugger, its a good alternative to Olly (i prefer it more then olly)

Plus Olly does work on windows 7, i have it on mine
