Need help with server

Hey people i wan't to host a server but nobody can connect to me and yes i did port forward en turn my firewall off

somebody have a solution?

like i installed xampp and wan't to host a site did all i did before but now people can't connect


please help me

Is your NAT Open? Everyone can join a NAT open host and sometimes ppl can join a strictt NAT host.
What router do u use?

I tried to do this too. Yer nat doesnt have to b open to connect with other ppl. I checked the aIW forums -.- Its all about the port forwarding process. Im not exactly shure if my research is correct, but thats whut i found all over the aIW forums. I tried to connect with my friend, but he said he brother can join in, but i cant. If yer friend uses lan then the only way u can connect is thru lan

Nat is open ports that are needed are open
only if i place my pc to the modem hisself i can let people join my server but my parents won't let me have the pc the whole day on in the living room :P

i think it is the router that blocks everything but it is a unknown suck thing

Use a Ethernet cabel, I use a 5 mtr long one @ home

but can't wire it from uppest floor to living room that's why i had a router so my dad can link his pc too
