Thats not very safe.. For all you knew this could of been a phishing/virus infested site trying to steal your money or personal info, or even worse.. Gay porn. But i guess you have to find out some way.
I started playing somewhere between then. Starting hacking a few month's later. But technically you're not a Grandfather of CA Hacking. The Grandfather's would probably be people who first started coding hacks for the game..

the grandfathers of hacks are the Nexon Employee's themselves
/ they have control to anything and everything on the game, and could play in their own private rooms / private servers (the Nexon 'in building' local connection server)
so yea.... the OG's are the GM's.
