AlterIWnet restricting some mods

It appears that some people are hosting random mods such as "roll the dice" where you're given random weapons and perks. However, it's also come to my attention that some variations of this mod also give out hacks such as aimbot, wallhack, no recoil and god mode to random players in-game. It is considered cheating to host a mod that randomly gives out these kinds of cheats, as the host is facilitating cheating by providing an extremely unfair advantage to certain players. After August 15, hosting such a mod will result in a ban - there will be no excuses after the previously mentioned deadline. I think a ten day grace period is more than generous enough, given it should be common sense that this kind of behavior is not tolerated. If you see someone hosting such a mod, please inform them of this post.

Please note that this does not include mods where everybody has the same hack at the same time - as this implies that nobody is ever given an unfair advantage.

Reasonable questions and comments are welcome.

This means Roll the Dice 2 will be removed because it has an wallhack roll. This is bullshit.

yeah stoshy u got it right just take out anything relating to wallhack, different visions, aimbot, and almost everything else!!!! Yeahhhh no cus if u think about it anything akimbo is giving an advantage anything thats basically not in the real game unless every1 has the same thing is giving an advantage so no more rtd on alter.

i mean like i remember a roll the dice where the whole screen was thermal not just an attachments. Basically if some1 made a mod with regular mw2 with 30% chance u get akimbo thumpers and 30% chance thermal vision it's considered giving an advatantage because not every1 always has it. But if u made it 100% chance for akimbo thumpers and 100% chance of thermal vision it's not giving an advantage, but that ruins the whole point of roll the dice.
