ALSO: if anyone can fix my warrock i will make them a free sigtube background/help edit on vegas pro or in anyway i can repay you.

i'm sorry bro i've stopped making signatures other then 2 more for people who already requested them.

My warrock has black screen error at startup. i am using windows xp sp5, dirext x10 i think and net framework above 3.5 i think. at the 'news screen' i can see news but no buttons, even though i hear the buttons working in the background

Try this: right-click on the games .exe(what launches the game).
click on the SHORTCUT tab and click the button at the bottom "Find
Target..." once you click this it should take you to the games file.
There right-click on WRUpdater and chose the VERSION tab. Read and
make sure you have version 1.0.01 Also make sure that in the
GENERAL tab that the read-only box is unchecked.

A solution that was posted in 2007...so it might be a different version.

If that doesn't work: try this: First, Click on the
START button then click on "Run..." there a window should come up
in the "Open:" bar type in "dxdiag" without the quotes. When the
window comes up test all of your accelerations, Direct 3d, Direct Draw
try to test everything. Then disable some things and test warrock
then. But don't do that unless you know what you're doing. Most likely
dxdiag will tell what is wrong so you wont have to disable things.

EDIT: Alternate solution posted in 2009:
1.Start>configuration/control panel > regional and language settings
2.tab country/region; Set your region (country) to English UK
3.tab language; > details > set language English (US) and uncheck both boxes underneath (supplemental)
4.tab advanced; set language to English (UK)

thanks man, although its not fixed it made me realise i'm using direct x9.0c,
i ran all display tests for direct3d and directdraw and it all worked.

if it helps i can't watch youtube videos in fullscreen? or pretty much any online content in fullscreen?

No problem, i'm glad to help ya out.

what do you mean? can you give me more details? like: what happens when you try to view it in fullscreen?


EDIT: Here's a solution that might help:

Try this:
Right-click on a Youtube video
Choose 'Settings...' from the Flash Player's context
Uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration"
Click "Close"

Now it should work...

i've already got that selected, when i go fullscreen it just has a blank white screen, possible direct x problems? same as on warrock maybe?

I'll look it up and post some solutions that I find.

If possible, try to update to dx10 (because you said that you were still running on dx9).

EDIT: Here are some possible fixes:

-Reinstall flash player
-Go to your "control panel" and change the colors of your "screen resolution" to "16-bit"
-Set your screen resolution to a lower setting

i downloaded latest version of direct x from microsoft website and i try install but it says a newer version is alreadyn installed =/

btw your signature has been started and i'm happy with it atm. another hour or so on it

yeah well i've done first too, not sure how/what you meant by last one?
