Silencer for rushing?

I do like the UMP w/ silencer...I like the control and the noise of the gun...damage isn't decreased over any distance...it's probably the only gun i'll rush with a silencer equipped.

I use silencers a lot on rushing classes, they help to not be heard, but in HC I love playing with noisy snipers such as barretts and Interventions without silencers, I just love when in the middle of the hardcore silence, you pull out BAAAAMMM (barrett), or a PSHEEEOOOWWW CLICK CLICK (intervention). Its just darn HAWT.

OF COURSE! When u rush, obviously the WHOLE enemy team is gunna b there. U dont wana give away yer location so u use a silenced weapon and knife.

Nah not for rushing because if your decent and kill everyone when you rush then their spawn will switch almost always. So i usually go for like extended mags so that i dont have to worry about reloading while im killing those slow spawn noobs.

i think silencer is more usefull in getting the most out of the rush kills.
most ppl in mw2 dont have headsets and dont hear gunshots unless they c it fly past their head. if u were to rage at them, the wud spot u on the minimap and run and rush u like noobs. silencer is preferred ;D

Silencer all the way but if im rushing against nubs i just use dual vectors and spam lol but if im rushing i will normally have a silencer on to blend in with the bushes im running through lol

thats true, but silencer also weakens ur damage alot, so u wont be able to get much kills, especially when u have a low power gun.

I don't like to use it because it lowers too much damage on enemies...when rushing i just kill and run LOL

It depends on the weapon...
Usually Yes but on G18 I dont use bling and go with akimbo

I voted no, because if you go without a silencer they hear a hell load of fire and then fear is forced into their minds and souls.
