i cant make it work
i have downloaded the patch 3 and when it comes to 44% it stops-.- and i got the reqiurments-.- it just comes comes up a window "microsoft visual C++ runtime library" i dont understand this sht-.-

i downloaded patch 3, and did run the iw4mp.exe and tthe update starts but stops at 44%

That happened to me about 3 times.
Delete you caches.xml and restart the updater.

Yes thats the one.
If that doesn't work, you will need to download the whole game from the torrent, so good luck.

OK, that makes it hard.
Well have you tried re-running the updater?
And what are you up to downloading?
Maps or other files?

im doing a Aiw update. bcuz im updating to 1,3,37a and it stops at 44% and the microsoft sht comes up .. and why should i reinstall the game when i acutally bought this game...

Because your files may not be up to date.
BTW, do you have:
IQ of over 60 (No need for link. You can't install the game without this)
PC that can run MW2
Microsoft .Net 3.5 Framework
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable

I am thinking its either the IQ or Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable. JK, lol.

Thats what I did and it worked perfect for me.

DW, It will be a waste of downloads. Just try restarting it every time. It automatically resumes every time.

OR you can try manual update cache

omfg, i have unzipped and i start the iw4mp.exe as some1 said i shud do and if u havent read my posts it says "IT STOPS AT 44%"
and now i try start the update again 3th time. lets see and hope
