type this in the conosle of alter:"findexternalip"

it will show u ur external ip and internal ip and it also show ur nat type to..

ur external ip is ur ip that u should be using for ppl to connec to u

Nice info. There's other ways to find it, but this can come in handy if you can't remember (or don't want to type 'ipconfig /all' in the command prompt).

Huh, then maybe I was thinking of something else.

Oh, I was thinking of: typing your default gateway into the URL and looking for the external IP there.

I'm not sure why I thought the command prompt would do it...

Dont u guyz understand?? =3=" its HOW TO FIND IP IN CONSOLE. If u dont feel like going on yer SLOW A$$ WEB BROWSER, then u can find it quicker in th console if yer already in windowed mode playing mw2 -.-

lol, that's what I do too.. Usually just google "what's my ip?" to find it.
