I know this has been asked many times before...

And I'm sorry, But I'm wanting to learn C++ but I have no prior experience coding. I know this has probably been asked before, and I searched the forum, but I didn't find what I was looking for. I was wondering what is the definitive most noob friendly learn C++ for absolutely begginers Guide. I have a strong desire to learn and would greatly appreciate it if you guys could point me in the right direction.

As I have said, I've been searching, and the tutorials/books I have so far is:

Exploring C++ - The Programmer's Introduction to C++ by Ray Lischner
    and
CPPBegGuide.XPS that I got from MSDN.

I would like to get started as soon as possible because im still on summer vacation so please respond . Oh and by the way I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition with SP1 - ENU and DevC++.

    Thanks guys,
    Ez2animate

Did you read my original post? Not trying to sound rude but that's not what I asked for. I'm asking for the best book/guide for someone with no coding experience at all to learn C++

People really have to check the stickies. The thread has some good, free online tutorials that you can use.

I have been reading the book I have for a little bit and I think I'm going to just stick with that. Seems like a good book so far.

I wasn't really told. Different people have different opinions. Just because void said something is good doesn't mean i have to agree.

IMHO i don't think it's a very good idea to start with a OOP language if you don't know how functional programming works from A to Z.

It's like if you want to run and you don't know how to walk.

    My 2 cents.
