[SOLVED] Help about model skins

Hi, i try to make some swat skins for the models/players but when i turn the image in dds (without hex) it looks white inside the game and if i hex it as the tutorial say it works but looks black purple textures, i save the image also as the tutorial ***1 rgb no alpha generate mip maps as info. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Follow the tutorials in the texture modding section... then specify your question better... don't really know what you are asking

I know, my english sucks!!! I mean what ever tutorial i try for the character skin doesn't work, i have a white skin if i don't hex my custom dds or a destroyed dds if i hex it like the tutorial said (for the weapons the tutorials work fine) and i ask if there is something else i need to do, like a different way for the dds settings from this i use.../

1st of all thanks all for the interesting, 2nd I try to make a complete skin, head, helmet, arms, body... for the forest/desert mercs, more specific from the file iw_05 all the files with tf_141 at the beginning.
